History

 

The College of Management at National Chi Nan University was established in 1998.

The goal of the College is to cultivate future business leaders, administrative executives and professionals that met the industry’s demands. We are committed to produce graduates with sufficient professional and technical knowledge, who are able to cherish traditions while also continuing to innovate, who have an international perspective as well as an acute sense of social responsibility. By giving equal emphasis to theory and practice, we aim to present a balanced curriculum of academic research and hands-on training.

 

1995

The Graduate Institute of International Business Studies was established.

The Department of Economics was established.

1996

The Graduate Institute of Information Management was established.

The Department of International Business Studies was established.

1997

The Department of Economy was established.

1998

The Department of Information Management was established.
The College of Management was established.

1999

The Ph.D. Program of International Business Studies was initiated.

The Department of Finance was established.

2002

The Master Program of Finance was initiated.

2007

The Executive MBA Program (EMBA) was established.

2009

The Department of Tourism and Leisure was established.

2010

The Department of Hospitality Management was established.

2012

The Ph.D. Program in Strategy and Development of Emerging industries was initiated.

2014

The Department of Tourism and Leisure Management and The Department of Hospitality Management were merged to form Department of Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality Management.
