Campus Surroundings

Our campus locates on the main road from Puli to Sun Moon Lake. Climbing up the winding road from the campus entry, you will be exposed to an emerald green sight. You will also notice several Chinese-style buildings which harmonize with the surrounding landscape. When the sky is clear, you can see Hehuan Mountains in distance from campus. You may also see numerous stars on cloudless nights and find a glorious rainbow after rain. The campus is close to Wushe, Aowanda, Sun Moon Lake, New Central Cross-Island Highway, Hehuan Mountains, Huisun Forest Area and many other popular tourist destinations. If you take a walk around the campus, then you may notice students reading quietly at a tranquil corner. There is also an art gallery located in the College of Humanity. The University provides a beautiful campus that can foster students’ open-mindedness and awareness of their surrounding environment. These characteristics would all become valuable assets for their future development.

In order to better enable students to enjoy and appreciate the abundant natural resources in the area, NCNU includes special outdoor physical education courses into its curriculum, such as courses on windsurfing, archery, golf, and softball.
